Casa Del Sol - SUR46

Casa Del Sol was a perfect location for our annual girlfriend get away! The condo had everything we needed, as well as a perfect location for walking the beach, hiking at Torrey Pines, walking to breakfast (Claire’s), and the best nightly sunsets views from our deck! Accessing San Diego and north county was easy from this location. Stubbs was outstanding to work with al around.

This is a great condo. It was perfect for relaxing upstairs on the deck watching sunset. It's a short walk across the complex and down the stairs to the beach. There is no AC so keep that in mind but there were plenty of fans in the bedrooms and the ocean air kept the upstairs cool. The kitchen has all the utensils you need and there are plenty of eating options within walking distance.

Enjoyed our stay at Sur46. We have stayed in the general area with Stubbs for the last 4 years. They are always very helpful and set us up last minute with this location. Close to all the familiar things we love to do. Beautiful sunsets and nice place as long as you don't mind the multiple levels. We thought it was an advantage.

Our vacation rental was very nice - fully furnished in all rooms, great views, and great location. It is a long walk to the steps to get down to the beach compared to the other units in the complex, but that doesn’t matter unless you’ve got little kids in tow. The dishwasher pump failed while we were there, but Dave Stubbs had someone out the same day to address it.

The property was as advertised with ocean views and steps to the beach. The property was very clean with the exception of some fuzz from the rugs that my one-year-old enjoyed picking up and throwing in the trash. The location is great because we can walk to Station Sushi and Pizza Port - our two favorites. Grocery stores are just a short drive - Gelson’s is our go-to when we’re here.

You really can’t go wrong with Seascape Sur and the adjacent properties. The location can’t be beat if you enjoy leaving your car in the garage and walking. We drive to the grocery store and then maybe the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, or LEGOLAND, but that’s it.

This was a really nice vacation rental. The unit was very clean and laid out nice. The appliances all worked. The views were spectacular. I have stayed at many places in the San Diego area and this was one of the better ones. Solana Beach is way less crowded than downtown and has really good restaurants. I would tell anyone staying is that the only concern is the unit doesn’t have AC and on days where the temps are up, fans just didn’t cut it. Made it hard to sleep. Otherwise a perfectly updated older unit.

Great stay in an updated Condo at Sur#46. We had everything we needed. In the future the owner or HOA should replace the original windows. The place is so nice, other than that.

From checking in to checking out, all went very well. Having two parking spaces close to our rental was ideal. Condo was very clean, well stocked. Only recommendation would be, to add a couple of frying pans to the collection. We hope to be back soon and would rent this unit again.
