I had a wonderful stay at Happy Days Condo and couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The property description was completely accurate — the location, layout, and amenities were exactly as described. The condo was comfortable, well laid out, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
The condo was spotlessly clean and very well maintained, which made us feel immediately at home.
Kevin, Tyler, and Jennifer provided excellent customer service — communication was clear, prompt, and helpful both before and during our stay. Any questions we had were answered quickly, which made the experience seamless and stress-free.
I would absolutely recommend Happy Days Condo to friends and family, and I would happily stay here again ourselves.
I also loved the surrounding area, with easy access to great activities, attractions, and wonderful restaurants nearby, making it the perfect place to enjoy and explore the area while still having a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day.
Overall, this was a fantastic stay and a truly enjoyable experience.

The unit is very comfortable, nicely fitted out, and very close to the garage. The best part is the proximity to the beach! The sound of the waves made for a great night's sleep, and the stairs to the beach are right next to the unit. There is no direct view of the beach from the unit, because of the berm at the edge of the bluff, so I didn't spend much time on the deck. But the proximity to the stairs made it super easy to get a beach walk in each day.

The management company was very helpful. They also loaned out beach necessities, like chairs and umbrellas.

Our one bedroom place was recently refurbished inside, stocked well and served our needs. Location close to gate and stairs to beach. You do hear gate noise which you get used too. Bath showerhead needs adjustment. This is tennis only so no pickle ball. Very close to Delmar, walking distance. Our stay was wonderful, highly recommend this one bedroom and Stubbs Real Estate.

Everything you could need here. Unit is extremely well appointed and furnishings and decor have been updated tastefully !!
Tucked back a little from the bluff affords privacy.
Also, proximity from the parking garage is excellent with no steps to worry about.

Great location close to stairs to the beach. But limited ocean view from the condo. Can get stuffy inside with no back windows to allow a breeze through the condo.

Very convenient location, close to restaurants and grocery shopping. Right on the beach. We did not need a car. Unit is very well equipped. Recommended for tennis players and people walking a lot like undersigned.

We liked the location of our rental and the location of the resort. The rental could be charming if it was updated. It was very dark with a strong sewer smell. The patio area has lots of potential, update the furniture, maybe have a shovel on hand for all the sand.we loved the proximity to the beach, ocean, restaurants, shops and walking paths! The management dealt with all the issues as they came up.they came immediately and were helpful!

Loved our time at Happy Days - oceanfront can’t be beat. The property is dated, yes, but well equipped, spotlessly clean, great bed, and very spacious. The people at Stubbs were really helpful, as always. We’ll be back!

We came to Solana Beach with other family members to celebrate an early Thanksgiving celebration together.
We would highly recommend staying at the Del Mar Beach Club.
We, personally, do not recommend staying in unit 101 at the Solana Beach Tennis Club, unless you are highly motivated to save some money.
The Del Mar Beach Club which is a very nice property. Everything was new and very well kept up. They have a beautiful heated salt water pool and a huge whirlpool tub which easily seats 8 people. Their unit was very clean, well supplied, and had comfortable and clean furniture.
We stayed at Solana Beach Tennis Club which is a very old and a very run down property. The pool was unusable; it was partially covered and filthy, full of sand. The hot tubs were unusable; empty and so small that only one average sized person would fit but not comfortably. We stayed in unit 101 which is the corner unit located right next to a public walkway giving access to the beach making it a very high traffic area. With people coming and going, the iron gate clanked continually. When there, we did not experience privacy in any sense of the word.
The unit was filthy, never cleaned. The kitchen was the worst kitchen I have ever seen. Drawers re difficult to open and the countertops are shot! It was very poorly supplied. All of the knives were dull and near unusable, pots and pans that should be thrown away, unsafe to use and not even one rubber spatula!
The refrigerator, washer, dryer are all rusted. The refrigerator door squeaks so loud, you think you're disturbing the neighbors. The table is rickety. The couches and chairs need to be taken to the dump. They are totally uncomfortable and filthy!
The only good and clean thing was the bed. The sheets were clean on the bed. The bed was very comfortable.

Great location for a beach rental. Closest to beach access with many restaurants within walking or beach cruiser distance and many things to see and do only a short drive away. Will stay here again in the future.

We had a fantastic time! The views were incredible and the condo was so close to restaurants, right on the beach and is was great to listen to the waves early in the morning and late at night! Only issue was a slow drain in one of the bathrooms.

We had originally chosen another unit in Del Mar, but a month or so before our arrival, Stubbs cancelled that reservation, and offered this unit in Solana Beach for the same price. We were appalled at first,but this apartment was located by the ocean, even though it had only one bedroom instead of two, and i + bathroom instead of two full bathrooms. The original apartment was also bigger and updated. The apartment my husband were switched for one week at the end of July 2022 is old and not renovated, but the location is great. It has a beautiful front ocean view, with direct access to the beach via a long series of ramps. There is no air conditioning, however, so during the day it gets very warm. In the afternoon and at night by opening the sliding doors (old and clunky), a cooling breeze brought down the indoor temperature. We had problems with the garbage disposal, which broke, a low water pressure and unstable temperature control in the shower, leaking faucets in the bathroom, very old and rusty kitchen equipment, and a dim light in the living room. Also the washer and dryer are very old. The patio at the entrance needs some attention as well. The management was very good at fixing things promptly, and in general they were very kind and professional. But of course the question is whether one wants to deal with being on the phone with the management to fix broken parts while on vacation and paying very good money for it. We wasted our time, to say the least. All in all, our stay was pleasant, particularly as I said in terms of the unit's location. I would say, in closing, that it would be great if it were updated in order to be more comfortable and meet the current standards and expectations in line with the considerable rent and fees paid. I would also say that being switched to a different unit caused some problems since we had planned to have our son visit, and it would have had his own bedroom and full bathroom had we stayed in the apartment we had picked.

Great location along the cliffs of Solana Beach. The place is very dated and in desperate need of a paint job, and major carpet clean (probably needs to be replaced). It is also just adequately equipped- no better. The light in the main bathroom is completely rusted, the closet doors slide right out of the runners (and weight a ton), and they could use a fan or two since there is no air conditioning. It would also have been nice to have a backup set of sheets and pillow cases, instead of the 15 beach towels. A couple of beach chairs would also have been nice. They could buy a decent can opener, and perhaps have a few dishes that match, and more than 2 decent coffee mugs (for those of us who prefer more than an 8 oz cup.) Great location if you don't mind everyone who walks past gaping into your living room (we figured out how to close the blinds just enough to let sun in and keep peepers out.) Overall it was fine but for what we paid, which I know was less than other places, it's very tired and it seems as thought the owners just don't care anymore. Nevertheless, we made the best of it and had a nice vacation.

Overall, we absolutely loved the location and the condo. Mornings were bagels from Einsteins on the patio and then a couple mile walk on the beach. A visit to the pool in the afternoon for a bit of swimming laps and floating.
Watched the sun set each night from the patio or the beach and then finished the day with a stroll to one of the local pubs for a bite to eat. We left the sliders open a bit at night and fell asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore. Thank you to the office staff for working with us on our late check in and early check out due to our flights.
We will be using this unit again on our next trip.
