Seaside Shenanigans - DMBC751P

We scheduled this staycation at the last minute and were not disappointed. We had a wonderful time. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you need to cook. The stairs to the beach were a bit of a challenge when we first arrived but soon realized that what was at the bottom of the stairs was a wonderful beach. The views were amazing as well as the sunsets. We are hoping to return next year.

This is a lovely condo within steps of the beach. Extremely clean and comfortable. Easy to get anywhere in the San Diego area. Only negative comments are ants and lack of paper towels, tissues, and trash bags. Be prepared for lots of stairs. We highly recommend this property.

Nice! Could use different window coverings in the bedrooms. Vertical blinds are noisy, not effective in blocking out light especially on the parking lot side, they fall off m, break etc...
Small bathroom upstairs faucet needs work; kinda leaks

The Seaside Shenanigans unit at DMBC was lovely. It was clean and well maintained. The kitchen is updated with new appliances and countertops. Stubbs customer service was awesome. The patio is decorated so cute and pretty. I love the new security gate from the beach access. Yes, I'd recommend this place. We've been staying at DMBC for years and always happy here. Will be back for sure.

We had a very large family reunion with lots of ages. The variety of amenities and close proximity to the beach is what we were looking for. This location was perfect. The condo offered plenty of Space and we had a great time.

Condo was very nice and well equipped. Beautiful pools and great ocean access. Unit could use some TLC, some ceiling fans would be nice. The upstairs got pretty warm a few nights during our stay. Tyler with Stubbs was very helpful and supplied us with two fans. Dealing with Stubbs is a pleasure.

We try to stay in Solana Beach every year and find the Del Mar Beach Club a great location for our stay. Dave Stubbs staff are always accommodating and a pleasure. Our week was great!

This property could use some minor upkeep, but met all the needs of our stay.

Renovated and nicely decorated. Very clean and beds were comfortable. Pull out couch wasn't very comfortable but that's to be expected. Great location - close to beach access, restaurants and local shopping. Happy with our stay.

You can't beat the location of this rental! It's a 2 minute walk down the beach and the beach is never crowded - it's like a private beach! The rental was nicely furnished and had a well appointed kitchen. The downsides were that the washing machine was broken the entire week and there were ants in the kitchen. The mgmt company dropped off some bait traps but never followed up on when the washing machine was going to be fixed. We had to drive to the neighboring complex to do laundry which was a huge inconvenience. But even with the laundry issue, I would definitely rent here again!

The place was very attractive and had comfortable beds, sofa, and dining table. Nice patio area with new seating and an umbrella for shade. We used that area a lot. The kitchen was newly remodeled and had all the things you would need to fix a meal. There were plenty of towels and bedding and they had some cleaning supplies for a quick clean up. The washer stopped working a day before we left but they were sending someone out to fix it and as is typical of CA rentals, you need to be very careful to not leave any crumbs out or you will have ants, but overall it was a great gathering place for our family and the beach is the best I’ve ever been to in CA. Perfect for little ones and almost like a private beach. The pools are also a wonderful amenity. We have been coming to Del Mar Beach Club for over 25 years and we feel like it’s a hidden gem. We would definitely rent this place again if it’s available!

....poor maintainence of beach acess by DMBC....because there are not privacy-proof screens closure leaves the apartment warm&stuffy....nevertheless we were very pleased with our stay....jhg
