The location couldn't be better, offering breathtaking views. The condo itself is elegantly renovated, adding a touch of sophistication. However, it's worth noting that thin ceilings could potentially amplify noise from upstairs neighbors. Additionally, while there isn't a washer/dryer in the unit, the complex does offer convenient access to a paid laundromat on-site.

We liked our vacation very much. The unit was very nice and we’d stay in it again., However, the throw rug in the living room was quite stained. The windows needed to be cleaned. We had trouble with the dishwasher one night – after it ran a cycle we found water on the kitchen floor. We reported it to the staff at your office. Although we had Internet, we couldn’t make calls or receive telephone calls while inside the unit. It would’ve been nice to have two fobs.

Important stuff for future renters: Excellent new King Bed; Great Bathroom with 2 sinks/mirrors; great shower. Fast Wifi with new Samsung Smart TV so access to all your streaming apps... Hulu TV so access to watch/record all your TV programs.
All the other stuff... Newly redecorated throughout, fully equipped kitchen, close by parking, brand new appliances, only one flight of 10 stairs from car to unit, over 100 stairs from condo to beach.
Con: it's on the second floor, so if someone is renting the unit above, you'll obviously hear their footsteps... just as you'd expect.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here so much over the Thanksgiving holiday that I booked this property for our 2025 spring break getaway! Very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were high-quality. Amazing views of the ocean and beach - we saw SO many dolphins (and adorable dogs with their people frolicking on the beach!) We were pleased and surprised to find four thoughtful Stubbs welcome packs (2 in the bathroom with toiletries in each, 1 in the kitchen with essentials for washing dishes by hand or in the dishwasher, and 1 filled with delightful treats). The Stubbs office is extremely close and the team there made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a lovely time and can’t wait to return in March!

I just spent a week in the Breathtaking Bungalow in Solana Beach. The views are spectacular ! The unit itself is exactly as pictured, completely remodeled with very nice finishes throughout. Both the unit and the complex are very quiet. Easy access to the beach and this is a very walkable beach in both directions anytime. Great location and walkable to the shopping and restaurants in Solana Beach. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and found Stubbs very pleasant and easy to work with. Any individual that I spoke with at Stubbs was both professional and knowledgeable. I will be back !

Beautifully appointed, great location, stellar views. We spent many hours watching surfers, dolphins and pelicans from the balcony. Calm and peaceful, plenty of room and recently updated so felt very clean and modern. Incredible beach below. Property management was very helpful and accessible. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed.

This condo has been recently remodelled and they did a great job making it lovely and easy to live in. The management was super helpful too. We loved being above the beach and hearing and smelling the ocean. Lots of steps to get down but they are sturdy. The pool and hot tub were sparking clean and the grounds very tidy. This was also convenient to walk to a number of locations in Solana Beach (recommend Achilles coffee).
The only downside is that there was no dining room table and chairs. We had to eat at the kitchen peninsula and the stools had no backs. It also mean there was no place to play games. The TV didn't come with much so we were a little frustrated with entertainment (and my hubby is good at that stuff and still couldn't make it work).

Amazing location, very clean, beautiful and nicely furnished. Nice, soft sheets! We wherever happy and would rent again of sure! Stubbs was also extremely helpful and very nice staff!!
Couple suggestions: more towels, maybe a supply of 6 bath and 6 beach; basic cable tv, my fiancé very unhappy could not get sports center in mornings and missed some important live sports events; another fan so one in main room and bedroom; kitchen well supplied, but setting of 6 dishware would be helpful and a vegetable peeler; should mention in description that laundry is not in unit, but on-site; not sure what you can do about this, but upstairs people very loud walking back and forth and furniture moving. Probably not enough padding under flooring. Since it is also a rental, maybe could ask that company to request renters be cognizant to walk softly and move chairs, etc gently. Once we realized, we were also careful for our downstairs neighbors.

We had a great time with our oceanfront rental. It was wonderful to have the view of the ocean! It was close to the stairs. We were sorry to miss the opening of the pool refinishing, but will be back! Everything was great and convenient, including the covered parking.

The view from the deck was wonderful. We enjoyed a glass of wine and watching the surfers. The king size bed was comfortable, unit was clean and had plenty of cooking materials. Unit is close to the Del Mar Race track and many restaurants. There is no laundry in unit, but the laundry is located near in the adjacent garage and a quick walk. There is also a grill located on the deck off the bedroom. Only challenge was the shower as it has a step to get into it, but if you do not have any mobility issues, this is not too much of an issue. We enjoyed our stay and will come again.

First, the only issue... we were given the wrong internet code and went most of the week without any internet. Once we told Stubbs, they had someone out and we were able to access, but that took a full day and the process was pretty messy. Also, we had a smart TV that worked great the first 5 days, then went to "snow" on the screen. Took my friend a good hour to figure out how to get it back on.
On the good side, the place was immaculate and our windows overlooked the ocean. It was gorgeous! The apartment was very roomy and the kitchen was well stocked. Our particular unit was a bit "well-loved" but the couches were new, the bed comfy and everything really fine. Parking is assigned and close to the unit.
Be aware that you need to be able to walk a lot of stairs to get down to the beach! (Didn't bother me at all.) A big plus - Dog Beach is 100 yards away and watching all of the dogs play is a blast if you are a dog lover!
We bought little beach chairs and left them; would have been nice if they had been there for us.
All in all, except for the technical challenges we were very happy.

I told the renter that i needed good wifi to work remotely. It was bad, that if you went more than 15 feet from the router, you lost connection. Not only that, but my son had to LEAVE THE UNIT due to low speeds of download/Upload at 4:a.m. to work! View was unbelievable lovely, but the untit so dirty and run down, my daughter-in-law would not even cook in the kitchen. Fridge was stained and soiled, burners were crusted with rust and debris, oven handle was literally TAPED on with electrical tape and the drawers had icky crumbs in them. I am seeking a partial refund. This unit should NOT rent without an updated kitchen and bath.

We had a great week at this condo. We’d stayed in a different unit in this complex before, but this beachfront location was amazing. We sat on the balcony morning and evening watching waves, surfers and sunsets. The weather was warm and without a/c the unit got uncomfortably hot from about 4-6pm, but once the sun set, it cooled off pretty quickly, and there were three standing fans provided to help move the air around. The decor was a little dated but mostly in good repair (the sofa has a couple tears in the fabric), and the screen doors are really hard to slide open and closed, but the kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, glasses, pots and pans, and there were lots of bath towels. We loved the beach access from here and took long walks every day, but be aware there are 120+ steps up from the beach. We were in better shape by the end of the week! Checking in and out was easy, and there were grocery stores, drugstores and good restaurants close by. We would definitely stay here again. I miss the sound of the crashing waves already!

Both my wife and I loved staying here. It was a fabulous location and was exactly what we were looking for, panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, great sunsets and we were right on the beach. The best thing in our view was sipping a glass of wine on the balcony and watching the sun set.

We have been spoiled by other units within Del Mar Shores Terrace--top floor units have a better view, other units have a washer dryer and have more convenient parking spaces, BUT any vacation rental at this facility is WONDERFUL!
