Let the Sea Set you Free SUR35

My husband & I were very comfortable staying here. The condo was very clean & spacious. The views are spectacular with direct beach access. The condo is walking distance to several of our favorite restaurants. Stubbs Realty is friendly & communicates via texts. There are a couple sets of stairs to navigate to get to the unit from parking garage (bringing in luggage, groceries etc.) It wasn't an issue for us & we plan on renting this unit again.

This place was great! The property was quiet, very well kept, the landscaping beautiful! The location was literally above the fantastic beach with easy access. The ocean views from the main floor were better than the pics. The bedrooms were spacious and both located on the bottom floor. It was very hard to leave. Only issue were the ants, cleanliness of the propety upon arrival,and the dishwasher (which needs to be replaced after running a cleaner, rinse, and run several times.

Our experience was wonderful. So many things to do and places to eat in this area of Solana Beach. The condo was beautiful and comfortable with and outstanding view of the ocean. Having Fletcher's Cove area and beach access from the complex was perfect for us. Would highly recommend this unit and complex to anyone looking for a great place to relax and enjoy. Great condo, had everything we needed and is right on the ocean. Loved seeing and hearing the ocean right outside every day! Check in and out process was very smooth. We liked being close to San Diego but not terribly far from Anaheim so we could do Disney.

The condo was very nice, well decorated with a lot of space. Beautiful views from both sides of the unit, so you get both the sunrise and sunset views. The only issue we had, was there were a lot of ants in the kitchen. We were not aware on arrival, and any food that was outside the fridge that was open was covered in ants after the first night. We got creative afterwards by putting as much in the fridge as we could and hanging food to keep it off surfaces.
The management company was great. They got us some beach toys for our kids to borrow, and were very responsive when we had a question.

this unit has wonderful natural light from all the windows on the main living floor. the deck is large, comfortable and is wonderful for watching sunsets/having meals. Kitchen is large and well equipped.
the unit is a bit dated/worn and needs a refresh of carpet and paint and new couch however the location and space was perfect for me.

This is our forth time staying in Stubbs unit in Solana Beach and as always they deliver on their promise. Property description was accurate, and pictures did tell true story.
All was very clean and upstairs area – Dining/Kitchen and leaving area are in excellent condition with the large terrace providing perfect site for sunset watching. Kitchen is very well equipped and will let you cook as much as you want. Big TV is also available, but I am not sure if we even used once.
You enter on the ground floor were are two large bedrooms and bathrooms are located, lots of storage space and extra pillows and blankets if needed. Bathroom are good size and functional but are a little dated as compared with the condition of the kitchen and half bath upstairs but I think I am being picky. All was good and Stubbs’s personnel was very helpful and made stay there easy.
Note that we had an unusually chilly week (March 5 to 12, 2023) for the area so ability to turn on the heat was very welcome.

We had a wonderful 8 day rental. All advance communication was prompt, thorough and helpful. Check in was smooth and follow up to see how things were going was thoughtful. This is a wonderful property that we highly recommend. Ideal location that has good access to the beach, and the sound of the surf 24/7.

We have stayed in this condo 3 different times now over the course of a few years. The view is great in both directions and the location couldn’t be better - it’s within walking distance of many restaurants (Pizza Port is our favorite) and the train station for a ride into downtown San Diego. Additionally, the condo always has everything we need.

While the condo has always been clean in the past, there was a noticeable amount of pet hair this time - interesting since pets aren’t allowed. I’d recommend this property to anyone who doesn’t mind pet hair, but we will be looking for a different condo in the Seascape Sur complex for our next trip.

Dave Stubbs vacation rentals has always been great and we will continue booking through them.

Great spot, great location for our purposes. Nice condo. Nice complex. The complex shows its age a little as any complex on the ocean would, but maintenance and upkeep was very good. Condo was roomy and as described. Two pretty big bedrooms downstairs with two full baths and laundry. Upstairs was wide open living room, dining room, kitchen and small deck with awesome view. You aren't directly on the ocean, but can easily see over the rooftops in front of you. Solana beach was a great spot for us as we were spending a lot of time in Del Mar and Encinitas, but also spent time in San Diego and La Jolla.

This unit has nice views with ability to see sunrise in the morning on one side and sunset over the ocean in the evening over the other side of the home. There are multiple rows of units parallel to the ocean - this a few rows back, not directly overlooking the ocean. However, there is easy access to walk a few steps toward the ocean and down to the beach. While this is an older property that has had some remodeled touches, it was nicely cleaned and fit the needs for our 1 week stay.

This beautifully appointed home was bright, comfortable and spacious . The breezes off the ocean kept things cool. The best thing was eating out on the rooftop deck and watching the sun sink into the Pacific.

Things need help on: no kleenix in the unit, we didn't have any extra toilet papper rolls (we ran out in 2 bathroom because it wasn't a full roll to start with and no replacement) or extra soap. I had to buy a hair dryer normally they are provided in unit, pocket door to the master closet is broken, also the bathroom fan I think needs to be replaced sound seems to get louder.
