Spring Getaway
This was our third time renting this unit, which speaks for itself. It is a wonderful rental, spacious, comfortable, and that top floor view is outstanding! The kitchen is well-equipped, and we cooked a couple of gourmet meals here with everything we needed! Both beds are very comfortable. The Solana Beach area has everything: great food options, a nice shopping district, easy access to all of San Diego County, with a quiet atmosphere without the traffic, hustle and bustle of other nearby communities. Pool and hot tub are immaculate, Stubbs is fantastic to work with, and we recommend both this unit and Stubbs!

We have rented from Stubbs several times, and we believe that this rental was our favorite. The location was perfect, with unbelievable views, a nicely appointed dwelling, and a fireplace for those chilly nights in December. Stubbs has also been great, check-in is easy, the folks are very friendly, and they appreciate your business.

We spent 8 nights at this location in Seascape Sur. The community is really nice, and has great views of the ocean. The balcony on this unit is excellent with views up and down the coast from San Diego to Los Angeles. Beach access is easy and close. The rental had a great homey feel to it, we could tell the owners took great pride in it. Beds were nice and comfortable, the A/C was a great amenity, we just aren't used to sleeping in warmer more humid places and this kept the unit feeling comfortable. Great kitchen with everything we needed. Stubbs was local and gave a great personal touch to everything with recommendations, physically being able to checkin and get the keys, and being very fast to respond to questions. This was a very nice stay and we'll be back when we can.

Comfortable oceanfront condo, fully equipped, with very comfortable beds. View is fantastic, furniture is comfortable and the place is cozy. Big TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Pool and jacuzzi just steps away from front door. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Very clean. Loved having a washer and dryer.

Nice comfortable place with beautiful views...
We have been vacationing in Solana Beach for several years now and really enjoyed this unit and property. The unit has stunning views upon entering... Very nice quality seating/pillows (down/feather) on couch facing ocean and sturdy/comfortable seating at dining table.Bed was super cozy and we slept really well (better than home)... A/C and heating were a definite plus too given the typical range of highs/lows from dawn to dusk in San Diego. Mrs Meyers hand and dish soaps were a nice touch. It's the small things like this - and nicer TP stored in closet - that make a difference when away from home. (The cheap single-ply and soaps that we've found in other units makes my skin crawl and I never understand why some other properties are too cheap to supply decent mid-market stuff to match the price of the unit. LOL.)Mechanically, everything worked very reliably - sinks, toilets, laundry machines, microwave, water pressures. No leaks/irritations... Surfaces were in great shape and felt clean/fresh. A few minor updates/fixes would be nice (dishwasher not well-attached and an external door was tough to latch, for example), but it looks like owners - and development - are picking away at these things... OVERALL this place is DEFINITELY one of our favorites and we look forward to visiting again in the future. Thank you to Stubbs and the owners for such a nice experience!!! 🙂

Relaxing vacation at Sea for miles.
Love Solana Beach area. Private like beach. Peaceful and quiet. The condo is lovely with an incredible ocean front view. The pool and hot tub are only a few steps away. The exterior landscaping is beautiful with turles, fish, ducks, pond. Remodeled inside and stocked with everything you could need.2 bedrooms and couches for a family. 2.5 bathrooms a plus.

Indeed, a paradise away from home
First of all, the condo was just as described, except for one minor detail. It had previously had a grill on the terrace, which was no longer there. I got over this disappointment, as I love to grill many dinners, because the condo was fabulous. Not only was the ocean and beach view so expansive and heavenly, with the ocean breezes being heard from the back bedrooms, but it was fully stocked.Usually, when you check into a condo, you find just enough cleaning and every day needs like paper toweling and detergent, but this condo had enough supplies for our entire 3 month stay and much longer.When the fireplace was available to us (a leak was found after December’s huge rainfall and will be fixed after we leave), we enjoyed sitting on the comfortable couch, and watching movies. The condo was beautifully decorated and very quiet all of the time. It was located close to a pool and hot tub and very close to a stairway which led to the lovely beach below.It was very clean and easy to maintain.Jennifer, Kevin, and Tyler were very accommodating and pleasant to work with whenever we had a request. Jerry, the handyman, who visited a few times was timely and efficient with the needed tasks we had needed.This condo is in walking distance to CVS, the post office, and to many shops and restaurants within the are. We especially enjoyed walking to Claire’s on Cedros for a hearty and delicious breakfast. We enjoyed driving to Delmar to eat dinner at En Fuego Cantina and Grill or north to Leucadia to dine at Le Papagayo. Walking the trails and beach at Torrey Pines State Park is a must! Don’t forget to drive over for a short hike to Annie’s Canyon.We have booked this condo for next winter because we have thoroughly enjoyed it. Except for a few minor issues, we absolutely loved our time here.
